SPECIFICATONS:

The Dix 43 is a modern, radiused chine steel cutter with a moderate fin keel, skeg hung rudder and double spreader rig. She has been built to ABS Scantling rules for ocean racing yachts with topsides of 4mm plate and 5mm in the bottom and radiused chine. As a result, she is extremely strong and fast without being extreme in any respect. In addition to the standard design features, Ocean Flight has the added benefit of being a foot longer overall and on waterline, making her 44’78” LOA with a LWL of 39’ 93”. The centre cockpit has a conventional trunk cabin, which is deep set with comfortable coamings, good protection and positioned over the engine. Automotive paint system, steel deck and superstructure, interior bilges painted with epoxy tar, Perspex windows, full lead ballast of approx. 4 tonnes, Fuel tank approx. 550 litres, water tank: approx. 600 litres (plus a water maker), wheel steering on pedestal, emergency tiller.

ACCOMMODATION:

The interior is decorated in a modern manner and light and airy down below. Light beech interior, total of 3 cabins with 6 berths, from front to aft: large front cabin with insert, can be doubled for storage, large heads with manual toilet and shower, saloon with u-shaped seating and pilot berth, galley with double S/S sink, fridge, freezer, pressurised hot and cold water throughout, hot water through boiler on 220V and engine, headroom of 1.90 almost throughout, Pur watermaker of 25ltrs/hr, Force Ten three burner stove with oven and grill, Samsung microwave.
